Of course, all my Disney friends will know this, but my non-Disney friends assume all we do are invitations for kids’ parties! We do more Disney Princess Invitations or Mickey & Minnie Invitations for engagement party invitations, bachelor/bachelorette party invitations, save the dates and wedding invitations than you can imagine! All with Disney style! I picture the recipients as happy, fun couples who love Disney!
But my favorite invitations come as very small orders. They are a single invitation to someone special for a trip to the most magical place on earth!
We recently did a Cinderella invitation for a little girl from Santa for a trip to Cinderella’s castle, which included dinner reservations at the Castle and a visit to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. We have done quite a few trip to Disney invitations – what a great way to surprise a child with a trip to Disney! An invitation under the tree can be magical! (and we’ve even done them for significant others who are doing the surprising!)
We recently did a set of invitations for each day of a family’s trip – made out to their daughter, for whatever reservation they had for the day. These are such fun projects to work on! We themed the invitations to match the reservations – like Lilo and Stitch invitations for breakfast at Ohana’s, Disney Princess Invitations for dinner at Cinderella’s Castle and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Norway, Mickey Mouse invitations for breakfast at Chef Mickey’s. The invitations were addressed to the children or family and are “from” the characters. The invitations were then slipped under the door each night so the children found them in the morning. It sure added a special touch to an already magical vacation!
